1971 VW Beetle Heads for Engine [QLD]
aobed - February 14th, 2012 at 12:33 PM
Hi,
I've discovered that the heads for my 1971 VW beetle (Superbug) are cracked and need replacing. Does anyone know where i might be able to buy a new
or reconditioned one in QLD?
Many thanks.

Most of them are cracked.
Buy new ones. They're not that dear.

they are not always "the way to go" i have had a lot of new heads fail due to poor quality ( i don't know why we Australians put up will the cheap
Chinese crap that coming into our country ( if you want to know why it is happening look up "Lima declaration" )) Unfortunatly Greg from "Jax
heads" has closed his business ( another aussie business gone due to cheap, crap, junk, Chinese faeces.
