Classic Veedub will have some narrowed beams in next week .... 2.5 inch drop spindles on sale $99

Obviously there are quite a few options out there.

We sell Airkewld products inc the made-in-USA 2in beams (which include narrowed torsion leaves AND narrowed tie rods):

Or the cheaper Empi 2in beams:

And torsion leaves:

Spindles are a week or so away (but I'm sure you can get them from George or VVDS if urgent). Note you will need the new (get German) king and link pins and will need your spindles pressed apart and then mated to the new dropped spindles.....they are not a full bolt in deal - for example the pic of the CB Performance spindles tells you what you get:

Could you supply it with stock spindles German king pins and disc brakes and if so at what cost

Dasdubber - February 21st, 2012 at 09:02 PM

Hi Ash, we only stock the higher quality disc brake kits (CSP and Airkewld) - CSP we have in stock currently:
http://dasrestoparts.com.au/brakes/beetle-brakes/front-brakes/disc-conversion...

These are to suit CB Performance dropped spindles though (which are a week or so away as mentioned above) along with the German king/link pins (due in same order we are waiting for). You can get the cheap Chinese spindles but I have seen these flog out after some time (there is a guy on Melburgluft who had a similar problem). Likewise you can get the cheap wide 5 disc brake kits - your call at the end of the day.

There is always a reason why the quality parts cost more, and a reason why we don't stock the other stuff.
If you were keen on a full setup (beam, brakes, spindles etc) we'd be more than happy to do a good deal for you - if genuinely interested shoot me an email (alan@dasrestoparts.com.au)
Cheers
Al
