Fuel Gauge
5lam - March 13th, 2012 at 01:51 PM

Hi all,

I'm after a mechanical fuel gauge for my 64 bug.
Have a sender already, I'm just after the gauge itself and the cable.

I'm located on the Gold Coast, so I can pick up locally, or happy to cover postage costs. Must be in working order.

PM me or TXT 0413 716 710.

Cheers!
Dave

Mine is a standard, so it has no gauge at all, just a reserve tap.
Bought a new fuel tank and it came with a mechanical sender. I just like the simplicity of it, and don't have to worry whether it's accurate or not.

I have a mechanical one I bought on ebay by mistake, few years ago, thought they were all electrical, has a cable which actuates the needle, pretty neat and no wires! I will get a pic up

Yeah, that's part of it. I hate wiring/electrical so mechanical would is perfect for me!
