I have a brand new engine I am finishing now that will fit any beetle , type 3 or early Kombi . This engine is assembled using 100% brand new components and it has the following components included ;
Magnesuim universal AS41 case bored and decked
76mm forged moly 76mm chevy jnl crank
94mm stroker piston kit
forged moly I beam 5.5" I beam conrods with 3/8" ARP bolts
moly lightened 12 volt 8 dowelled flywheel
brazillian cast heads with 40 x 35.5mm stainless valves and 57cc chambers
Scat C 25 camshaft and aluminium gear
Scat solid racing lifters
stainless steel pushrod tubes
HD moly gland nut
Scat moly 8mm head stud kit
Scat stainless steel valve cover kit

This engine has no oil pump fitted as yet as it will depend on if you want to use and external oil filter/cooler or not . This engine is priced @ $ 4880 and is located in Wollongong NSW and is available for pick-up or I can ship it anywhere in Aust via Toll , ROD , 02-42729920 .

Hmmm..thanks...might just do that. I've got a '68 bus in the middle of resto. I was just going to tizzy up the 1600 in it, but Rods prices seem pretty fair and maybe I want something a little meatier....y'know what I'm sayin'.
