I have the radio mount and might have a radio as pictured.

I don't own any type 3's anymore so I would part with them.

send me a pm

That's just a front bonnet one, same size, but used on the wrong end  ( there's a reason why you've never seeen it before )

type3disease - April 15th, 2012 at 09:18 AM

thanks Doctor, it's quite the illusion - I looked at it a few times and thought nah is shorter, and the gate is flatter than the bonnet edge... but shows anything is possible...

I kinda like it... even if it's not menat to be there

I looked twice too, the number plate depression is quite wide which contributes to changing the apparent proportion. The rear hatch also has quite a curve in it, only 1-2cm difference where the ends of the trim would sit.

That's for the front too, but only about 20cm long, and neater than the "beetle bonnet" handle type. Aftermarket but yet to find any references for it.

empi - April 15th, 2012 at 07:56 PM

yeah the beetle bonenet one is ugly!

A blue hazet tool kit is currently on ebay. (nothing to do with me)
From my knowledge the 14/15 spanner should be a 13/15 spanner. Could be more at fault but haven't looked that hard at it
