I discovered today I need two new tyres on my 74 L bug.

Since I have to replace tyres I'm considering a rim upgrade. Not looking for new rims, used in good condition will be fine. I'm also not looking to change stud pattern.

My ideal would be two widened steelies with or without tyres.

But if you have four steelies or mags that fit an L, PM or post them up. 15's preferred but will consider 14's.

Must be in Melbourne/Geelong area or willing to ship. I would of course arrange shipping.
