I have recently moved to the Sunshine Coast & purchased a 1970s VW.
I am after an end bearing or a restored engine.
Can anyone help me with wreckers & spare parts
and a good VW mechanic on the Sunshine Coast ?

Sorry I don't have any complete engines, as for the eng bearing, sounds like you mean big end bearing which means your talking rebuild.... Best give me a call if you want some input. Feel free to put more info up here too.
