Does this box have the wider gears like the ver 5 ra box?
or is that the only one with the wide gears?

I agree the ratios in the ver 5 are not ideal.
But i am under the impression the gears themselves are physicially wider and handle more power???
I wasn't talking about ratios.

Ok I went down the wrong road there hahaha

The type R box I have has 1mm wider 1st gear, 3rd and 4th gear in paticular have a much larger tooth profile, although 4th gear is actually narrower than the UK version if I recall. Nothing to get excited over it will brake
The type R box also has a steel shifter fork instead of alumnium for 3-4 gears. Normaly these brake when shifting like you stole it :)
V4 RA & V5 RA have a hardnened 3/4 H gear
