I'm not quite sure what you mean by this but if you want to make a removable beaver panel don't you just buy a panel and cut your existing one out; or modify the existing to be removable?

John Sherman makes a fibreglass copy of the factory fuel injection type apron.
I've got one on my car, they are good as they are really strong and need no modding to bolt on, just drill the holes for the guard bolts to fit them and you can do whatever you want for exhaust outlets, either leave them as they are for a hide away system or cut a spot for tail pipes where ever you need.

Mick Motors has new metal ones... in VWA Magazine..

but they have the two outlets for standard exhaust pipes...

I have a john sherman fiberglass valance..

like Joel has said... nice and strong...

You can of course cut Yours out and use it if its still not damaged..

Unfortunately I bent mine, hence the need to remove it. Otherwise it would be firmly in place and the body of my bug would be almost ready for paint.

Just don't ask how I bent it........
