DylanTheDubber - August 23rd, 2012 at 04:52 PM

Okay so i've just realized I'm gonna regret this heaps so I'm gonna keep sticking with it. Seem like im not getting anywhere cause my engine is Fu**ed now and mechanic can't even get it going and so got it back home now and having a nightmare of a time getting the engine out. I Have bourght another longblock and hopefully can get 1 good motor going out of it and what i already got.

Also got a long list of things to do for rego including stock seats and raising suspension back upp erhh : /

Working on vee dubbs used to be fun and i dunno whats happened, but this at the moment is 1 big stressful burden.

So sorry For people that wanted to buy stuff cause it's not for sale anymore.

Hey Dylan, I am back in Port at the moment looking for a job - the company I was working for has gone into administration.

I am working on Lighthouse road tomorrow for a day, if you need any gear, let me know before 6.30am and I will drop it in to you on my way past.

I will call in on my way home from work to see how you are going - you are doing this at home aren't you?

DylanTheDubber - August 23rd, 2012 at 08:55 PM

Jeff,

Yes doing it all at home and i havent doen an engine removal in a while so i not real sure what i need. I Know straight up i need a couple trolley jacks as 2 just broke recently and the bug is sittin it arse on the ground cause no wheels on the back for engine removal. I wanna get the engine out tomorrow.

OK, I will drop in my trolly jacks and stands.

Let me know if you think of anything else.

TorxKiwi - August 23rd, 2012 at 09:13 PM

I'm hundreds of miles away, but I hope this ends up an example of the real value in being involved in a forum like this. Looks like its started already. Surely there are enough nearby to get the motor sorted by Saturday afternoon!!!

DylanTheDubber - August 23rd, 2012 at 09:28 PM

Have got engine free now from all wires, cabels and bolts but it still wont come appart from the transaxle :grind:
