That's a JDM speedo out of a Jap spec 1303

Unique and unusual yes but valuable not really, nothing special about them, nearly all Jap cars since the mid 70s to early 90s had speedos with a red zone over 100km/h and a warning buzzer that went off once you got over 100 or 110km/h but in bugs that was a mechanism that attached to the speedo cable.

I used to have a standard beetle JDM speedo but I cant see me owning another flat screen bug so its gone.

i was there when he opened the box ..haha almost threw it across the shed , then i told him i bought one from valla but wont sell it to him (we use them in splits for fuel guage and kph)

Bernie if Pete doesn't want the speedo then I'm sure we can make an arrangement if you have and earlier style in km/h with internal fuel gauge.
