That is weird..
unless water or moisture got into the speedo??

usually the odometer stops working when a gear moves or strips
but the needle usually keeps going...

maybe just worn out.. lol

check ebay... usually lots of early speedos there..
when I'm looking... lol

but should be many used ones about..
maybe a kilometre one.. lol

I have a klmh one out of a 69

I have a few spare speedos (correct year and earlier) and cables call me if u need one 0488 089 456 (in east Doncaster) and am at home working on cars today.

East doncaster not far from where u are about 20 mins
