hi everyone with the help of a couple members from this forum i have finally made a rhd cruiser pedal.
my first run will be ready in a couple of weeks, but figured i would let everyone know now.
i am doing a limited first run of 20 just to see how they sell then i will go from there.
they are going to sell for 135.00(us funds)
if there is any interest in them you can message me here or email me at talus99@hotmail.com
it will come with a custom billet pivot arm and a lazer cut custom brake stop plate
thanks russ
i'm located in vancouver british columbia Canada
That's a fair-dinkum [genuine, for you non-Aussies] RHD roller pedal.
Pic looks fine..........Cheers, Greg
Looking good Russ! Did you manage to sort the preliminary issues with DM's pedal? This one is all tried and test, bolt-on affair with no mods
required for fitment and ready to ship?
yup everything seems good now.
trust me i spent lots on shipping the brackets back and forth to make sure they were going to work.
it will take a few more minutes to install unlike the left hand drive ones but pretty simple.
sorry for the large pic guys
The one in the pic is for ovals by the looks, do they fit 40 horse and later 1500 pedals too?
i honestly doubt it, do they use a roller pedal in the later cars as well?
cruiser pedals were originally made for the split/ oval car's(left hand drive ones)
if the spacing is the same it may work, but with out a car in front of me it's very hard to tell. that was the biggest set back for me is not having
a RHD car to work with
The pedal has had refinements done to it an the finished product is a winner!
Def a must for oval drivers to stop the sore foot, an a cool period accessory too!!
Russ was very patient with the constant emails an photos back and forth.
But I know he's got a winner now!

Sounds great, i'll grab one Russ as you never know just how limited a run producing rare item like this can be!
Email coming your way mate
hey Guy's so the RHD pedals have not been great sellers so i am clearing out the remaining few i have at a discount

if interest picks up again i will run another batch
thanks again
Russ
Hi Russ
Do they just bolt to existing pedal assembly? Does the kit come with all required hardware?
They look good...
Cheers Ben
Ben
I have one and they bolt directly on - he has the bolts, pin and spring setup all in the kit. Its a great looking kit and was damn easy to setup.
I think i had best get one also
Russ,
is this for ovals only? Will it fit a 60's beetle? Thanks Dave
68-69????
Split and oval beetle roller pedal setups only guys.
Sorry i have been off the forums for awhile,
thanks Pashn8 for answering all the questions i appreciate it
as it was stated they are for split ovals only, i am sure they could be modified to work with a later assembly but with out one in front of me there
really
just is no way for me to guide in the direction of what would need to be done in order to work
thanks again
Russ
ps my email is talus99@hotmail.com a direct email will get my attention right away

I have just ordered 2 x RHD cruiser pedals from Russ, if anyone else is interested in a group buy/combined postage let me know.
ben
Just ordered mine :-)
These look terrific. I know it says the designer is not sure if they will suit anything other than an oval/split beetle... Has anyone tried?
I'm keen on a better pedal than the one in my 67 beetle. I haven't inspected an oval pedal setup, but it looks in pictures as though I would need to
add a roller and do some fairly big mods to make this work with a 60s pedal setup.
Any thoughts? Advice? Are there any good options for a 60s beetle.

Russ, will contact you on the samba. Would like to chat about getting at least one more set from you :-)
Any idea if they would suit a 63 Ghia?
