Hi all, I have a 1641 engine for sale from a Type 3. I had sold it to another member as a reco'd engine but ended up was not done properly so am putting it up for sale with the info gave to me. The bottom end was machined and had new bearings put in but after a mechanic inspected it he said it still had alot of movement so not sure what the go is. It also had rust in one of the cylinders from sitting round. The engine came in a type 3 that was being restored. I was given all the info on what had been done to the engine but was not finished off properly I guess. The enigne is complete minus the carbies. I will be going to DOTVW at Yarra Glen, so if interested give me a call. Would be happy to strip it but would prefer to sell as a whole. Best offer......

Wow that is a shame - I tried to buy this engine as it was such a great deal. Very disappointing to find out the dishonesty in original listing .
