The start of the restoration of KO 036, this is my son Nico's CB,he is 10 years old and has had the VeeDub bug since the age of 2 years,Nico's real
passion is the CB and he drives his teachers, class mates and anyone else mad with facts on Cb's.
I'll start posting pics of the restoration progress.
Cheers Dean
Looks like a good base for a restoration, what is the go with those headlight protectors.

Headlight protectors where to stop the rocks from flicking up and smashing the light when the CB was on the car trailer...

Hacked out wheel guards
Driving this to valla next year ???
Well done Dino,
Great Father son Project
Love it
Anyone got a reasonable front bonnet for a CB to help Dino out with his resto.???
Stand back and get inundated with the offers.
PM him if you can help out.
I have two rears but no front.
countrybuggybill
Hi Bill, I have two brand new ones...as I see, he would need to replace front guards as well...

Keep up the good work..
countrybuggybill
Omg CB John how right you where when you said there will be more rust then I could imagine, this is going to be a lot of work..
Rusty
You're doing well...if you need something you know where to find me...

Rust has always been the friend of the Country Buggy and never the friend of the person doing the restoration.
Dino,
And you think this was a bad one...................////////////.
At least you will now all about your vehicle.
Happy new year
countrybuggybill
So very true Bill it does build character tho...
All the best to You and your family Bill for the New Year.....
Now rebuilding this one would be very very character building bordering on impossible.
The vehicle is still there after 20 years and a fire about 10 years ago.
Keep up the good work,
countrybuggybill

What's the KO number Bill? :P
The guy who sent me the photos reckoned that he wasn't keen to get any closer as he had already seen a snake or two as he wandered around.
Think the KO # will stay unknown on this one.
countrybuggybill
May it R I P......Rest In Pieces.
Dean, lucky you found Johnny.....he's 'the man'.
Not a lot has been happening with ko036 apart from stripping panels and finding all sorts of nasties from rust to dried up rats. Nico has been helping as much as he can on the CB learning how to use a dolly n hammer and taking the opportunity to educate any one that walks into Camden County Customs(which is primarily Hot Rods) on the Country Buggy.
Definately a ratter this CB!
Those dried up things look nasty - bit smelly?
