An update on the buggy.
the new heater channels and front firewall are all welded in so it has its strength through the guts back. and the front and one side have been
removed.. full steam ahead
tackling the right side first. you can see the dodgy previous repairs on the rear inner guard.. plan is to raise the rear guards and the wiring is going to run through the side panel hidden and neat
Here is Johns new nose.. had to be the panel first on for a look... spick and span!!! looking forward to seeing more on the car. al have been coated
in eco primer and ready to go
Also some new sheet for in behind where it was all rotted away i got folded up.
Be interested to see how far you got with this!
Nice work!
Is that CB sheet metal available aftermarket or did you fab that nose up yourself?
Being a novice to the VW and Country Buggy world pardon my ignorance on some things. However, I didnt think CBs had heater channels because they didn't have heaters. Is this CB on a bug pan or do CBs still have heater channels even though they don't have heat? Sorry for the dumb question.
