guys I'm a new owner of country buggy..my cb was fitted with fiberglass roof...I want to remove it and put soft top/canvass but I dont have any copy of the bow....maybe a little help from this forum...pics maybe...thanks in advance...
The rules of the country buggy forum are that you must post pics of your buggy - otherwise you will be treated as a perverted peeping tom (okay
perhaps I made those rules up but posting some pics of your buggy and a story of its back ground would be of some use)
As for the roof, plenty of people on here would like a copy of your fibreglass one and the soft tops can be relatively easy to manufacture - I believe
Powers Canvas in Toowoomba did a pretty good job on a buggy recently.
What is the KO of your buggy ? and whereabouts are you located ?
Welcome to the buggy world..

Bearwin,
Firstly, welcome to the weird wonderful world of CB ownership - you have joined a select group.
As far as bows are concerned, try CB CRAIG. His buggy is missing bows as well - he has measured mine to help him copy the original design. He may be
convinced to make more!
Do you know whether your fibreglass roof is original? Original roofs are possibly rarer that the car!

Rob
Hi Bearwin,
I have bows at my workshop, shouldn't be a big trouble to make a drawing..
cb john
yeah I need some bows as well
There was mention of some bloke on here making vinyl roofs a while ago - not sure of he ever finished...?
John,
What other parts do you have for sale and what will you be making next?I sent a "pm"to you.
Regards Craig.
I've finished everything from dashboard to front bumper, next I'm going to make side panels etc...

Paul,
Could it be you have your eye on the hardtop???

If someone with molding skills could have this fiberglass top to work from, there might be a market, although small I'll grant you, to sell some
reproduction units if they were of high quality.
Just throwing an idea out there....

Steve
