Hi Guys,
Here is another Country Buggy with a difference, its a friend of mine who has owned it for the last 25 years. It has a worked 1916 motor in it and no
reduction gears so it gets along very well.
Regards Craig.
Bootlids broken, won't shut properly It should be called "Streakers excuse", seemed like a good idea at the time
kaddie 1916 with a beetle peashooter zorst
poor constipated engine
aside from that good to see a CB with a difference
Hey I bet this cruises along pretty good.
Can you let me know something. If it isn't running the reduction hubs on the rear, what would be the setup that he's using on the front. Can you
send some pictures of the running gear?
Looks like it's also had a windscreen frame chop as well.
Looks good.
The Aust Army would so not of rejected the CB design if it went like that!!!!!
has the windscreen been chopped ??
or is this CB 10 feet wide... lol
good to see the engine cover open
I was a bit worried with those vents...
and the oil drain hose coming out the Power take off hole at the back
isn't good...
Lee
I've added it to the gallery.....thanks for the pics
The window has been cut down by 230mm and so has the roof ribs. The running gear in the back is all type 1.It has been lowered and has 14 inch rims.
Craig.
Here's one Filipino Style....
I saw this car in approx 1992 at a property in South Rochdale when the same gentleman was selling a 62 beetle i was interested in, at that time it was pretty smick and went quick , when i got into the vw community in approx 97 i expected to see it again at shows etc , but this is the first time since that i'vve seen it.
I remember this car around '95 at a few Jamborees.
If it is the same one, diferent wheels, need to look in old photos and scan some...baja kombi's too hey dc
