For those that havent seen it, I've created the Country Buggy Gallery to document KO numbers with Pics of the Country Buggies.

So far I have 75 matches, and 42 unknowns.

Hi 11 cab, thanks for posting the CB pictures, I am the current owner of the first prototype, and was really chuffed to find pics of it taken at Hobart amongst your pics! I will be doing a sympathetic restoration of #1 as soon as I finish my sons 56 oval resto! and
we hope to drive it to some mainland shows over the next few years!
cheers twobus

twobus,
Welcome to the forum, great to have you here.
If you have more shots of your CB, we would all love to see more.
When you get started on your restoration, a documented pictorial history of that project would be fantastic too.
:tu:
Hope to hear more from you.
Regards,
Steve

Welcome to the Forum Greg.
Plenty of stuff here around Country Buggies but not much about prototypes.
I had not heard from you for a while so I assumed the Bus was getting some work done on it.

Now I see you have been around the Forum a long time. Maybe I should put glasses on these days.

Irrespective, would love to see more photos of your vehicle when possible.

Hello again Bill
I have been a bit busy with my wifes 1975 show bug, and my sons 56 oval to do more than conservation work on the buggy! (forgot to mention the 69 twin kab!) and the trip to last years BUG IN in the red PMG split van caused more work than I needed! Ive built another two garages in the meantime, but they are already full with the Restored Carapark caravan, and the twin kab, so I have to do a lot of my work Outdoors.
I notice you are no longer at Bathurst! I thought north Nowra was Bomaderry!
Anyway, I reckon we should be able to register the #1 sometime in 2010! And thanks to Ztnoo, and 11cab, I shall try to post pics as I go!
cheers
Greg
Ps I had a hard time convincing shannons that #1 was what I said it was!

twobus,
My guess is that Bill would say there's absolutely no reason you can't register your CB prototype now.
To my knowledge no vehicle has to be in any particular shape or a specific stage of restoration to allow Bill to use his highly honed typing skills to enter your CB in The Registry. I bet he can hardly wait to make those keystrokes!
A detailed restoration record of your CB would be terrific once you get to that point.
I'm certain it would hold the total attention of all CB Forum readers and CB Gallery viewers.
Best Wishes!!!

Regards,
Snorkel (aka Steve)

Steve, he means to register to drive on the road

ztnoo - March 14th, 2009 at 11:54 PM

Oh....................duh.
:spin:

Well we speak the same lingo, but it is different, right???
Please excuse my Yank interpretation.....

ztnoo - March 16th, 2009 at 10:24 PM

Duh.................
If I had just taken the time to have checked The Register, I would have noted this prototype is already #2 on Bill's list.
Sorry for being too quick to shoot from the hip.......

Regards,
Steve

Well I've just recieved some more pics for the Gallery, which brings up the confrimed KO numbers to 98, and 40 unknown KO's in the Gallery.

Hopefully when I get to Valla and get the KO numbers from Luke's barnfinds, that will bring the gallery up to 100 confirmed KO numbers
