This was spotted at Klubfest today.
The owners brought it down from Bundaberg. They also have another 2 or 3 country buggies back home as well
Graham,
I noticed I dont have details of this CB from Bundaberg.
Was surprised to hear that they have a couple more. Do you have any name details I can make contact with to get the details for the Register.
I seem to recall seeing a car in this colour before bit I cannot for the life of me recall where.
Is the owner a Forum user?
countrybuggybill.
Apparently this is the Rally car the KO 200 was thought to be. I've given my details to the owners and apparently their other CB's havent been
updated to Bundaberg yet. I dont think they'll be home for a few days, but hope to hear from them at the end of the week maybe.
Craig may have more info
They were on there way home today and they have 4 Country Buggys and 10 other VWs.They are going to take photos and the KO numbers and send them to Graham. They also won the Trophy for the Country Buggy on the day.It was good to see 4 Buggys at the show, lets see how many we can get for "VW Action Day"on the 13th September.
That Buggy is the sister to mine, same colour even - It also was in some Endeavour rallies back in the day - still has the mounting brackets on the
front - I have the photo at home though am currently in New Zealand.
I was sent the rally photo as a mate thought it was mine, but I couldnt find any evidence of the front driving light mounts or the vents at the side
and rear, which are clearly visible in the photos.
My buggy was from Emerald and this one was from Springsure 75klms south. Am guessing that the owner will be the same bloke who bought the 3 off Vic
Morrow from Callopie a few years back as they went to Bundaberg, one was a white one with beetle front end, one was just a bare shell but not too
rusty and the third was in a pretty bad way and had a ute roof. Would be good to see some pictures.
I know it is an early call, but will aim to be at the Action day - given it is about 2klm from home I am hoping it wont be a big call.
Cheers
Peter
Peter, that definatley sounds like the same guy

The ownership of KO471 is now understood. I had a phone call last night from Daryl who purchased KO471 to go with his other CBs -KO 62, KO 288,KO
486.
I already had these three CBs on the Register but had the incorrect location of Gladstone when it should have been Bundaberg.
Brisdubba(Peter) had the detail right about the car being in the Endeavor Rally in the early 1990's and the fact the other three vehicles came from
the same guy.
Will talk with Daryl to get some photos organised.

Make sure he sends some more pics of the other CB's for the gallery
