Yes and Art still owns the vehicle which he is going to restore. I believe it drove from Newcastle to Melbourne several times loaded to the gunnels....(WELL SILLS ANYWAY)

Knowing what Art looks like these days I know these photos must be from the late 1960s or early 1970

You are right about the date Bill the photo on the side of the hill is at Coffs Harbour out on the point south side of the Marina dont think you csn drive there now the road shot is about 150 KM west of Rockhampton on the Capricorn Highyay all 3 pics were taken on the same trip also did I mention 2 trips to Melbourne were done with wife & (2 kids sitting in the back on cushions) and towing a 12foot ply caravan ArtyP
