Hi there Chippy, I have family living out at Killarney, nice spot out there.
Can you email some pics of your Country Buggy to me at vwnuts@bigpond.com so that I can add it to the Country Buggy Gallery.
Cheers
Graham

what does KO actually mean? and is there a referance point where CB's can be dated using the KO number? or do you date a CB on the chassis number a similar way to bugs n busses? cheers jon
is it a red one
From information given to me by an ex factory employee the KO number represents the "Konstruktion Order" and the number tags were affixed to the
body at the start of the production line. As a result the vehicles were produced and came of the production line in order of KO number.
There is no strict correlation between KO #, engine # and chassis # although I do see that earlier KO #s have earlier engine and chassis numbers.
I have a timing schedule of production which shows what month the various KO's were produced. As an example KO0613 came of the production line in
June 1968 as part of the monthly total of 114 CB vehicles.
Hope this helps.
