hi evryone, I'm a newby in this site. I'm a new owner of a CB, I just bought it a month ago and its under resto right now. When I got it, it was in good orig condition. In its KO number location it has "CB 554" engraved marking instead of the KO. Is their anybody in this site who knows a thing about it. I wil soon post pics.
Magzre,
Welcome to the Country BUggy site with your Sakbayan.
Looking forward to seeing pictures so I can match up with other Sakbayans we have photos of. I have seen another Philippino vehcile with a CB number
instead of a KO number and all I can imagine is that it represents a production number that DMC would have given to the vehicle when it was assembled.
FYI the other CB was
CB536.
If you can also advise Chassis and engine number it may assist with classifying on the Register.
If you need any information that I may be able to help please make contact with me at

Here's some pics
Rey (User name; Magzre) from the Philippines has now completed the resto of his Country Buggy and the photos are attached.
This was an amazing resto in such a short time and I see where there was no luxury of a rotisserie to work the vehicle only.
This is the LHD CB with the "CB554" plate welded where the normal "KO "plate is affixed.

There's some issues with the Manx site in general, so once that is sorted, the gallery will be back in action

Looks like the http://manxgallery.org/New_Gallery/index.php/Australian-Country-Buggies link still isn't working.
I was however able to view most of them at what I guess was the old page or in the old format: http://www.manxgallery.org/gallery/Country-Buggies
