Have a 68 beetle and want to fit low back seats. Are the seat rails all the same in the early bugs?

yes, the seats in a 68 should be lowback.

I thought they changed in 67

Does anyone know how many different types of seat rails their are?

A 68 would have had low backs anyway, highbacks didn't start till 72.
the runners before 70 are all the same L rails, 71-74 has T rail, 75 on has 3 point runners

68 has to have the lever in the top half as the top locks in ,not like pre 67
