Anyone know a good engine builder to recondition a 1600cc beetle engine? Melbourne area.

Don't know one in Melbourne,I'msure they are there.
I got my 1600 reco engine from CBB in Penrith about 2 years ago and it is a little ripper.
Drove up and back in a day to pick it up(cost effective use of the company ute)..
I beleive they also deliver.
Had a good look around the workshop when i was there..Very impressive..
Thats my 2cents worth anyway.......

I had a 1600cc beetle engine rebuilt by VW Performance Centre in Croydon in 1988. Still going today after 100,000 miles. I also had my 1964 1200cc engine rebuilt by them a year ago. I would recommend them.

Shame your not in Sydney i will be pulling out my working TP 1600 and selling it all but the tinware which i need for my new motor but other than that the engine is in good working condition
