Bit bored with my wheels.Paint them black?
or any other suggestions?(new rims not an option yet)
Why don't you head down to Supercheap and see if you can find some clip-on wheel trims to give you a bit of a change, but still leave you the option
of going back to how it is now. I think it looks great how it is. Color matched wheels on Beetles always look fantastic

I see a red wheel and i want to paint it black. Paint them black with a red pinstripe. F yeah.
Two tone them with a cream colour
Paint the car black and leave the wheels red
paint the whels cream and add a dress ring
For stock wheels, the wheel centre and inner rim should be cream; the outer rim should be body colour. You can always add white-wall tyres later.
The wider chrome Porsche 356-style wheels, with VW hubcaps, look fantastic.
Cheers for the replies guys.I'll probably play with some different colour combos over the next few weeks.Might go black inner and leave the red outer first.Been playing around with "beetle generator'' on my phone which helps,good little app that.
white walls would make it look awesome
paint them black thin red outer and no caps 
Flourescent colours seem to be cool with the boy racers at the moment.
Guess they must be able to drive like Ken block like that?
