Had my 68 rego inspection today.... Failed on both tail lights being too faded, failed on a tear in the drivers seat and failed on both headlights being rusted inside... The tail lights I agree (they look all good in pics but shine white with light behind) the fronts... well... It's only a tiny spot in each at the bottom where they leak.. they were being replaced with h4 from vollks.com anyway but the major set back... Rust... Of course. Right side floor pan has a few minor holes that are simply a case of treat with kill rust and seal.. easy. The bad one is on both left and right sides, under the body next to where the rear guards bolt on... Vw exchange fyshwick thinks that its not structural.. I'm not so sure.. The pictures below show the car on the hoist... And the above mentioned rust that I'm worried about. Any thoughts...

Realised my description of the rust I'm worried about is crap... And realised that my phone has double posted the car on hoist.. sorry lol. Will try later for new pics of rust.

It is difficult to assess the rust from the 1 picture. Take a picture that presents the hole and a perspective that shows where the hole is
