i need some help my fuel gauge wont work
is there an easy fix that i can do myself or will
i need to take the old girl off to see someone

1971 bug i only noticed after she ran out of fuel and since then it hasnt worked

to isolate the problem, unplug the single wire to the fuel sender, earth it anywhere, and see if the needle maxes out to Full. If so, then gauge and wiring to the gauge is good and the problem is the sender.

If there is no response after earthing the gauge, i'd be looking at the gauge/wiring itself, as that will be where the problem is located.

Do that for a start.
