do hazet still make replacements for these or am i going to have to go to flea bay
Just get kinchrome from supacheap and drop them in acid for the day.
Seriously though, someone had a thread on here last week with a link to a german tool place that stocked Haznet gear.
They may be able to help.
Great find.
You could also ask roger wood at southside vw.
He has a couple haznet sets. Maybe has spares to sell maybe not.
well done Paul, great catch.
You have got the 'HAZET' kit which is doubly desireable as early Porsche owners will drool and covet over it as well as well as volkswagen
victims.
check this: http://www.gutefahrt.com/hazet.html
and this : http://www.356tools.com/roundbox.htm
But please... make it a hobby to restore it, and tracking down the original parts will be an adventure in itself, they arent necessarily expensive,
you just need to be patient.
Unfortunately there are people who will buy these tool kits and then systematically canibalise them by selling off the parts one by one on evil-bay to
make a profit. I can understand the temptation to do that but each kit is unique for its year and it just results in everyone having mismatched sets
and one less correctly matched set.
.
Also this one, has some good info as well

I thought they were worth a lot more but a really nice set sold on eBay last week for $450 which I thought was a bargain. The last set I saw for sale
which was at dubs at the abbey was $12-1500 or somewhere like that.
The one on eBay was missing only the plug spanner, wheel brace and one screwdriver. All the tools still had the hazet decals on them too. Surprised it
didn't go higher.
nice pick up for 36hp Beetle or an early Porsche
You have 2 or the 3 screwdrivers
Single tools come up on Ebay or Samba but be prepared to pay for them but considering you got the box for nothing it wont be that expensive
