Sorry, another Year ID help Question.

Hey guys,

sorry trying to work out the year of the body of a beetle. I know the pan is from a later year (Don't have that on me right now but it's complete 4 lug and suspect it hasn't been adapted from 5).

Under the hood it has the ID Plate and Embossed underneath is
MKA13 C 15 (The C looks like a Euro Sign or a backward curved E).

The Top Right number is 1151771 on the actual plate.

Any ideas?

That's an early Martin and king car, is it oval or big window shell?
1.1million would be 57

Also despite the "made in west Germany" plaque am I correct in assuming it is an Australian built car?

Quick update on this, the Vin on the pan is:

118710183

I'm thinking this makes it a 1968 pan?

I think your body is April 1956, and your Chassis is April 1968.

I have a July 56 & two September 56's both higher MKA numbers than yours.
