Hi all,

I recently got my 1973 bug lowered 2.5 inches at the front using drop spindles. I have stock wheels with 165 80 r15 tyres on them and the tyres scrub against the guards when a do a sharp turn. What can I do to stop the scrub? Will smaller tyres help? Please let me know.

you can adjust the lock stops on the pitman arm

you may also have t3 wheels with adifferent et?? rubbing the springs??

Its a 73 standard (beam) as he says dropped spindles
