Does anyone have pictures of their bug/beetle with a 2" narrowed beam, 2.5" drop spindles and sprint star rims?
I'm tyring to work out the best stance and tyre size for my 61 beetle with this set up. Wide 5 disc brake set up.

thanks

Adjusters wound up a bit and not fully slammed as the tyres hit the lip/arch on the guards with full shock compression (bilstein)..has dropped spindles too.

thanks for sharing the pics. what size tyres are you running?

Here's what I have now trial fitted. its a 185/60/15
seems to fit....there is no fuel tank in/weight in the front and only the one wheel on, but the other side is lowered on the jack to the same height.
I get about 3 finger widths (technical) clearance between the tyre and the edge of the guard.

I am still interested to know what size tyres other people are running who have a 2" narrowed beam and 2.5" drop spindles.

Also wondering about load raitings. Apparently a beetle has a raiting of 85. Even going to a 175/60 tyre comes in under that raiting at 81...so how after people running smaller tyres? Or do you just do so at your own risk?

so i ended up going with 145/65/15s on the front and 175/65s on the rear.
