matt - November 5th, 2007 at 05:53 PM

I finally got around to painting my 59 beetle the colour is cherry black (hsv colour) with some little extra airbrushed bits ( the airbrushed bits don't look as bright as they do in the pictures)

Looks good, well done. Was it worth the wait?

JEG Bug 65

it was more just finding the time, a little disapointed with a few minor defects (serves me right for rushing) but overall not to bad. Will be a daily driver once all put back together and road worthied.

Hi matt good to see her coming together,I think the back of the rear seat bolts in the both bottom corners so it can swing forward and the bottom peice just sits in cheers shane.

Awesome color choice!

It may be the photos, but it looks like there is a lot of metallic in the paint. Very nice and hope its going well.

Beautful,

Did you paint it at home in the shed and no booth?

If so that is a brilliant job and you should be really proud of the results.

Great finish, the paint looks like you can put your head into it and have alook around, then pull your head out again without getting it wet.

Cheers,

David
