Here is My 1968 semi auto beetle..

it will be at Valla -Nambucca heads this year for the first time...
only took Me 12 years to get the beetle there....

I've been there but not in My beetle...

same with the VW nationals....

here is what it looks like at the moment..

just put it all back together

and i have an oil leak on one of the heads...

heater boxes back off
exhaust back off..
electrics and fuel disconnected again
torque converter unbolted.. again
ATF lines undone again
oil drained and extra sump taken off
so i can use the VW engine trolley on the jack..

I'm going with My Son Scott in the green rat look oval beetle..

I'm taking My engine out in the morning..
I'm going to take the doghouse cooler out and use a remote larger oil cooler with fans...

I'm going to add a spin on oil filter later too...

Hopefully this will be the last time i have the engine out...

I might weld the engine in.... lol

so I'll be there at the oran park Bug in...

the only time I've been anywhere in My beetle
is the Broke Fair 2006 -2007 and the
FORD day in Newcastle last year... Hexham I think??
