i love my car!! as u can tell, i take a photo of it almost every day, iv removed the rear bumper, and replaced the front bumper with a newer one with
no dents and no rust! AND!!! the only reason i had superman covers on was i just took my dog to the vet! and didnt want her nails to cut the

i love my car

Fat Chick is what people call post-1967 VeeDubs.
Just a bit of VeeDub slang.
*bump* ok guys i need help here! iv been wondering for a bloody long time and justcant decide!!
i need to choose weather to lower it, or sway bar, or exhuats n stuff? whats the best value for money mod i can do with looks/handeling/power...
its killing me!!! i wana lower with rims, i want a rear sway and i want better carbie + manifold n stuff! i dunno where to start :S
work with brakes and suspension first
no point making it faster if it cant hold the road or stop

Nice ride a bit new for my liking but a good looker for sure
good start is do all the bushings, some good quality shocks and maybe a front swaybar
running on stock width tyres is abit limiting to but u gotta draw a line somewher or it just never ends
but yea listen to Barry, go talk to Richard he'll sort u out

also ... does any one kno of Stephen Natoli @ burwood/concord? apparantly hes a VW specialist? has any one been to him b4? he owns an awsome bug and
psat wagon turbo! looks awsome! both of them!
ALSO!!! my father is trying to sell my sisters beetle... once agian! im trying to stop him!!! i want it, even if she doesnt!!!! HOW DO I STOP HIM!!!
all my loved cars are being sold off like cheep china @ an auction!!!! i want them to stay
mabye i can use her car as a run around while i fix mine up? either way! i dont want him to sell ....agian!
You could always buy it off him.
Simon
i said that.... he laughed and said! oh yeah! with what money! sadface
i had a talk to him tonight ... and he kinda agreed with me... so .. progress is progress!
I own this one
I am up in Hampden Road
Steve is on the forum here sometimes.
Mainly in the drag section.
He lives down the road opposite the shops ob Great Nth
Leave your car alone. If nothings been done to it, leave it!
Buy you sisters car and do it up, but leave yours alone!!!!! (not that i can talk)
i was actualy thinking the opposite to you!
i was going to mod my car and leave my sisters alone! keep her '71 super semi-auto as a run around as its a 1 millinth anniversary eddition, and then
i do up my '69
and yes i kno where stephen lives! hes a mate of my brothers!!
AND ZOMFG!!! i see ur beetle so much! every time i go down hampten rd i always look out for it!
u'll find its 15millionth and it will be '72
that is if the 15millionth glovebox lid really belongs to that car
1 millionth was an oval in 55
Nice, great to see it's a family affair.
