have got my 2 beetles in the shed
my 64 and 60 or 70

i have just bought the 70 model cause the motor in it was in great condition and was wanting to put it into my 64, and just need some help,
and i need as much advise as possible so if any one knows anything on what i should do or if it can be done please help me cause iam sought of bit stuck right now lol

the clutch in the 64 will be a 180mm [6 volt clutch]

and the clutch in the 70 model will be a 200mm clutch
[12 volt]

You will also need to change the starter motor...
the 6 volt pinion is different to the 12 volt pinion..
ie 180mm to 200 mm

Someone on Here should be able to give you a rundown on the differences.

as many people have done it [I haven't]
