just bought this the other day to compete with my girlfriends 74 s-bug, havnt had a chance to fully investigate whats what on it yet but im hoping it will turn out to be decent car in time

is there many people on here from the NT at all?

Hi Pauld and welcome to the forum. Looks like a real nice ride. Got a 74 myself so to see another is good.I`m sure those that hail from the NT will come by. I`m a couple of paddocks over in downtown beautiful Sydney.Once you`ve trialed your new ride over the next week or two perhaps you can put up some other pics - interior,motor etc. cheers

yep will do, spent every day this week trying to sort the spark plug in number 3 cylinder, had previously been helicoiled but it came out with the old plug. picked up a set of kadron extractors for 90 bucks yesterday as well as a few lights and bits of chrome and things yesterday have another 1.6 that i think will be used to donate a head to fix the spark plug problem properly. will get some more pics when i have some spare time while the suns still out

There are a couple of us on here, not very many though.

We are going to try gather a few of the local dubbers for a drive, would you be interested?

i got a fresh bunch of parts turn up from classic vee dub yesterday and i spent all day today fitting the twin 34mm carbs to the bug, will dig up the camera tomoro and upload some pictures of the changes

no the day i dont pull something apart on the bug never comes and iv been slack, got a few more progress shots to go up eventually
