Wanted: 68 discs and wheels

Hi all
Got a 68 VW Beetle 1500 and just found the previous owner had the wrong wheels on the car and had drilled his own holes in the discs and welded studs to it - these were falling off and dangerous. Looking to buy 4 new hubs and wheels for the car but finding hard to find. Anyone have any for sale or know where I could get them?

Any help would be much appreciated!!

It might help if you put your location up,i have front disk brakes and two wheels with as new tyres cheers shane.

i'm in sydney - will they fit my 68 as believe they changed config from 68 onwards?

Yes they will fit a 68 $50 for the wheels $30 for the brakes,heres a couple of pictures of the wheels cheers shane.

Hi Shane - thanks for the reply - sorry for the delay in responding. Would be interested in the wheels - ideally after 4 hence previous reply. What state are the drums in - are they ok? Do you have any photos? Can see you are located in Nowra - do you ever come near the city? Thanks

Sorry i dont have 4 wheels and the 2 i had have gone,if your interested i know someone selling a full set of brakes and mags of a 70 beetle see picture, let me know and i will pass on hes number to you cheers shane.

Thanks - yes do still need them - my fault for being offline for a while. Would these fit my 68? It has a set of mags on it at the moment but they are too wide. Do you know how much he is selling for? Would be great if you could put me in contact. Appreciate your help. Thanks

Yes they will fit a 68 and they will fit under standard gaurds,im not sure what he wants for them i will get hes number and send it to you tommorow cheers shane.
