Dose anyone know what became of the ladybug

Hi,

Dose anyone remeber this car , It may be rusting away in your paddock or it might be your daily driver. Here is the details.

Vw 1972 superbug s
last badge on the boot was vw 1500 in 2006
VIN: 1122284030
Was origionaly mustard but then was painted like a lady beetle insect and had antenas on the bonnet
It had a hotdog extractor system i think with no tinware on the motor.
The car was stolen from ashmore and dumped in a river nearby in 2006 and was sent through the insurance company to be sold at an auction at eagle farm in brisbane. I owned this car for 3 months before it was stolen so i was woundering who used to own it and if anyone knows who dose now. PM me for more info on the car.

yeah from the memory here that belonged to the peeps that sorta began bad little buggers vw club in brisvegas..
it was out front of dubs by the pub run in the early days..
me thinks..

was at the abc wreckers in oxley about 1-2yrs ago along with a white L, rather rusted & asking waaay too much for it, the white L however appears to be driven by someone at my work now, not that that helps

This is true.
It was sold to a wrecker at the salvage auctions.

Yes , Thats what happend to the old ladybug was dumped in a river and then sold in an auction at eagle farm in brissy. But has anyone seen it anywhere after 2006

I hope not, Even if its realy rusted and in a paddock somewhere i just hope its still around somewhere and that it hasnt turned into tin cans.

ive seen a very similar bug at centre rd wreckers in melboune, not sure if its the same one tho, what are the chances..
