Bonnet Year

Can anyone tell me what year the 4 tab bonnets came out? 50's, 60's?

Oct 52 - Dec 60
The hood prop location changed in Aug 55 to mount at the front hinge bolt rather than a separate connection point.

Yeah. this is correct.
It's also flush mount on the bonnet with no raised section for the badge to sit on. and it has 3 holes on the passenger side, never seen one like
this before.
Just wondering what year it was off. I found it at the tip in good condition.
I'm guessing it's off an oval because of the other bits there with it. But my old 56 models bonnet didn't look like this one so i can't be
sure.

You've already been told Oct 1952 to Dec 1960
There was a change in the hood prop location so that should narrow your found one down to after 1955.
If your old 56 doesn't have one like this, then it probably has the wrong (incorrect for year) bonnet on it and you have just found the correct one -
lucky you.

You've already been told Oct 1952 to Dec 1960
