has anyone tried to fit the current Shape VW headlights into the old shape Bugs

and

has anyone seen or have these -

'Current shape' - do you mean New Beetle headlights? Totally different design, and the mudguards and mountings are different sizes and different angles, but I guess anything is possible. Dunno why you'd bother though.

Those lights look good - only problem is they are US-spec for left-hand-drive, and the dip beam would go to the right instead of the left. Otherwise cool for later Bugs.
