My Old 56 (aug55)

O.G. paint never welded 57thou miles .Drove it home from Queensland to Melbourne and back twice,once to Valla and once to Canberra .Also used it as our wedding car along with two other green ovals thanks to Lohoon and Vwfool
6.5'' Beam 2 clicks in the rear

Now the outside was polished it was time ti un mask the O.G. seat covers that had been recovered from new

Nice looking car!
Mine sits about the same height with no bags or hydraulics. It hits the ground every once in a while but not as much as you would think.
The joys of living in Canada where there is no such thing as vehicle inspections!
Serious, you can do whatever you want to a car here and just walk into the insurance place with the rego papers and thats it. Added bonus is California Import parts is 30mins from my house!
Big change from when I was building cars in Australia.
