Wondering if anyone would know this..............

I have a 1974 Std Beetle, has a Swing Axle Rear end.

It would therefor have (21 3/4) torsion bars right?

74 STANDARD is swing and I believe would have the bars mentioned 21.xx mm.

Sweet, did some checking as well - just like having that sort of stuff confirmed by as many people as possible - don't want to buy the wrong part and it is not exactly easy to check before hand!

On a midly related topic.

Someone has installed (I am assuming it is aftermarket) Sway-Away type front Beam adjusters on the top and bottom beam.

Just so I know that the Beam is a stock width - What is the lWidth of a stock beam? Where I am taking the measurement from?
