what about a ratchet tie down to pull the arms down?

all fixed, pulled one spindle off and yanked on the arm and hole moved up enough for me to get adjuster screw in.

I usually leave everything in place when installing spindles... Hard work but as you go along it get more common and easy

how tight shouls the nuts on end of ball joints be?
