I'm looking for some side mirrors for a 1972 Super Beetle that won't get blown back or break every time I pass a truck on the highway.
I've already gone through about 3 of ones like these:

Even the more expensive version of similiar.
Can anyone recommend any good mirrors? I don't mind if they look different.
you do know that you can tighten the arm on the stock mirror to stop it from being blown back in.
yep.
just mentioning it as im still using the stock ones on my 72 sbug, they have been there for 6 on the right and 11 years on the right, dont have these problems at all.
I have had my Passenger side for about 20 years, and my drivers side has been on the car since I bought it (about 30 years ago) - they do come loose occasionly, but a tighten up, and they are fine.
may have just been sold cheap ones then. Cheers
jeffreys in japan have nice mirrors that are functional too
airkewld in usa if you dont mind the fact they look HUGE, not sure on functionality/quality either
Other cool ones are Vitaloni California's. Revolution Racegear used to carry them, but haven't checked their site in a long while.
If you don't mind a modified look, motorbike mirrors can work well.
