Side Mirrors?
parso13 - June 28th, 2011 at 06:00 PM

I'm looking for some side mirrors for a 1972 Super Beetle that won't get blown back or break every time I pass a truck on the highway.
I've already gone through about 3 of ones like these:

Even the more expensive version of similiar.

Can anyone recommend any good mirrors? I don't mind if they look different.

you do know that you can tighten the arm on the stock mirror to stop it from being blown back in.

I have had my Passenger side for about 20 years, and my drivers side has been on the car since I bought it (about 30 years ago) - they do come loose occasionly, but a tighten up, and they are fine.

Other cool ones are Vitaloni California's. Revolution Racegear used to carry them, but haven't checked their site in a long while.

If you don't mind a modified look, motorbike mirrors can work well.
