Hey does anyone know where I can buy some new window rubbers that have the chrome inserts?
I cann't find them anywhere and I really like the inner chrome look..

what model VW do You have... ??
the aluminium alloy pieces are difficult to fit, that is why most people don't use them...
the alloy pieces bend very easily and they need to be in place BEFORE the rubber and glass are fitted to the car...
the late model beetles had the round chromed mylar piece that fitted into the groove... which doesn't bend ...
this was used in holden toranas etc back in the 70's
I saw some on ebay recently...
I know its expensive even in the USA...
