hi guys,i'm having trouble with the rear of my car the guards are chewing threw the side wall of my tyres and would like to know who or where i could get some camber bolts to suit a 69 bug
Not sure what You mean Lachlan...
1969 swing axle beetle...
wheels too far out...
tyres rubbing on guards lip..
easy way is to adjust the rear torsion bars up a spline or two..
to raise the car... nothing to buy..
otherwise... You can get wider fibreglass guards ..
another way... is air shocks... they are pumped up to raise Your car.. not too expensive??
best of luck

atm i have widened the track of my bug and have got bigger guards for it just need to tuck the wheel under the guard so i can stop it rubbing on the wall of my tyres.
so, You need the guards widened again....
as the widening of the rear track hasn't really worked....
as I said, easiest way is to adjust the rear torsion bars^ up so the tyres don't rub...
or use air shocks to push the wheels ^ up more..
or change the wheels... which I'm sure you don't want to...

the car is sitting how i want i dont wanna lift it up anymore if so i would like to go lower. my dad has made some modded z bars for the rear for easy adjustment. all i want is to tuck the wheel under the guards with abit of neg camber.
Dangerous dave butler did some for a few people not long ago I think

Lowering the car will not change the tyre's rubbing as the suspension is still traveling in the same arc, you need to change the wheels with a different ET, reduce the track or widen your guards.
