So i found that i need the shock absorbers replaced on my 72 super just after a list of the shockers that i can use.

Rear shocks for most Beetles are all the same.... Common at Mick motors and most shops...
COFAP VW shocks will be much cheaper from a VW Parts shop...
Front shocks -- two different types for torsion bar suspension
COFAP Common at Mick Motors etc and other VW parts shops
and the SUPER BEETLES McPherson strut shocks which are special...
COFAP Common at Mick Motors etc
BUY from a VW shop otherwise You will Pay MUCH more...
for MONROE etc... shocks...

yes I replaced my front to a second hand one and the world is soo much better
you'll need spring compressor for the front unless you have.... after market spring...
also I have gabriel red ryder on the back

Ok i need a brand that i can get at a conventional store or that they can at least order eg bursons, autobarn or autopro
