Some features that are different to the Aussie models.
Round push button door handles and engine lid, extra vent in the dash, leaver hot and cold air, vented wide 5's and ball joint front end and wipers park to the right. Here are some pictures.

Big window bodies is the most notable change with Euro bugs over Aussie bugs.

Nice tidy bug, has it had a full resto?
Just they used the wrong front guards on what is a pretty well a perfectly original bug, they are pre 64.

Yes, it has had a full restore, but from a very good base (eg. external respray only). What is the difference in the front guards and how do you tell?

Front indicator position.

Thats were the skinny 60-63 ones are mounted, when they swapped to the wider style like yours in 64 they were moved back about 2-3"

People don't realise when they swap guards but atleast they used two of the same.
It's worse when there is one of each.

Thanks Joel,

Like the peanut style indicators and was thinking of getting them but am torn between being purist or the look. Whats your thoughts.

Honestly I would let sleeping dogs lie, the car is pretty well all original and it's a minor minor detail only a few people would even pick.
