Hi all,just picked up a '58 beetle but unsure of engine size,any help to identify appreciated.
Engine no 2461157
Chassis no 2041051

it should be a 36hp engine with a fixed generator stand

The number indicates a 36hp 1200 (actually 1191 cc)
Also likely that it's the original engine...
